Chez Ernest

Chez Ernest is the restaurant of the Ernest food aid association. Located in the 2,000m² Sample space, steps from Porte de Bagnolet, it operates on a weekly residency basis: each week, a new menu, a new chef,

Fresh products, seasonal, short supply chain, sustainable fishing and farming, ethical cold drinks, and always a veggie option—the association’s commitments are reflected in the restaurant.

You’ll find natural wines and, for beer, the result of close collaboration with BapBap brewery in the 11th—an IPA on tap and Much Love, a solidarity beer available in bottles.

Why we love them: Ernest is a short supply chain food aid association, working exclusively with small local producers or specialized suppliers (Le Zingam, Coopérative Bio d’Île-de-France, Tom Saveurs, Racine). The bonus? All profits generated by the bar and restaurant fund Ernest’s food aid initiatives. Whether that’s weekly distribution of vegetable baskets to families in precarious situations or preparing meals for partner associations!

Their recommendation: The ultra-indulgent brunch formula—2 starters, 1 main of your choice, 2 desserts, and a hot drink for €20 (Saturday and Sunday)!
