Why we love them: The shop follows a comprehensive ecological approach: bulk priority, local products, and exclusively seasonal. They offer a purely vegetarian selection, all certified organic. Fresh products mostly come from short supply chains and local agriculture. Altervojo is Bio Cohérence certified, which means exclusively seasonal products, no heated greenhouses, and no air-imported goods. Altervojo offers a wide selection of items by the slice or by weight. You can bring your own containers. The shop follows a zero-waste approach, with most products sold in bulk and a dedicated spot for “less popular” but still delicious fruits and vegetables. Unsold produce is recycled into compotes, soup, or tomato sauce.
