London
By Rozenn Richardeau
Famous for its iconic Big Ben, royal family, and busy financial district, London is one of the most diverse cities in Europe. Beyond Westminster, every neighbourhood has its own charm and identity built through wars, monarchies, trade, art, and immigration, turning this megacity into many small villages along the River Thames.
Beyond the typical beer and fish and chips, we invite you to walk through some of Londinium’s ancient history, taste locally and ethically sourced dishes, and relax in green patches where you might even spot foxes and deer!
This is not an exhaustive list, but it reflects what London means to me through the lens of its commitments to reaching net zero by 2030. There is still a lot to do in terms of air pollution, biodiversity protection, and climate justice in the city — but what if we could start changing the world with a vegan meal, sourced locally, eaten in a lush park?
